Warcraft Millionaire – The Perfect Gold Guide?

There’s been a lot of talk lately about a new comer to what many of us might call an overcrowded gold guide market – that of Warcraft Millionaire.

I’ve read a lot about Brad, the author’s, claims and was quite skeptical at first that anyone could have made 1 million gold in a game that has a gold cap of 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper. It just didn’t seem possible and so I, like many, wrote it off at first as creative boasting by another guide writer. Don’t make the same mistake I did though!

This guide is the real deal. Not only does Brad provide video proof of his claims on his website (watch the video here), he provides one of the most comprehensive gold guides I’ve seen yet. Not only do you get a half dozen different guides; a 1-60 guide, an Outland guide, a grinding guide, a Daily Quest guide, an Auction House guide, and a Limited Items compendium; he writes it in a way that is easy to understand reference – an issue I’ve heard time and again with other gold guides on the market.

Once you crack into the beginner’s guide and start reading the tips and tricks that Brad has to offer, you start to see just why he was able to become the game’s first millionaire. It’s not just a laundry list of grinding locations (though he does provide these), it’s a complete step by step process that walks you through how to utilize the grinding locations and gold making methods to the best possible consequences.

Many times, a gold guide just tosses ideas at you and expects you to figure them out for yourself. They give you a zone and a mob and say “kill this”. Brad, starts with the big picture and slowly narrows in on what you need to know about gold making in the game.

One of my favorite parts of this program though is his Auction House guide. This is by far one of the best Auction House descriptions I have yet read. He deftly weaves descriptions of real world economic concepts into how the game operates and how you can actually play the Auction House like the stock market for exponentially increasing returns. The rest of the guide program provides you with plenty of information about what items you should be looking for and how much money you can expect to make.

With the right approach to the Auction House, you can be sure that you will start making gold just like Brad. While I would have liked to see a bit more intense focus on Outland and a few more grinding locations that don’t require a flying mount, I cannot fault Brad for this one minor issue – the rest of the guide is so well situated (and illustrated) that I can fully believe that he was able to reach his gold level without spending a dime of his own real world money.

Tearing Up Your Competition with Warcraft Formula

Every now and then a new guide hits the market that captures a niche or hole in information that no other guide has yet covered. Recently, I had a chance to sit down with just such a guide – the incredibly accurate and overwhelmingly detailed new monthly guide being released by Warcraft Formula.

The idea is simple. You pay a small upfront fee for full access to a past library of Warcraft Formula guides going back to the release of Wrath of the Lich King and every month, for $17 you get the newest guide in the series. Each guide comes with PvP strategies, recent news in the game, class strategies, recent gold making options, action plans, and information that is as up to date as it comes, written as often as it is.

You also get a nice bonus in the form of an Action Plan that guides even the noobs among you to build an account from the ground up to be as effective as the pros out there. What Warcraft Formula does is nothing short of astounding, creating a new product that allows users of all skill levels to start out with nothing and build their way up to pro status every month with sharp, pointed strategy guides.

It’s not a select guide – you don’t get a leveling guide or a gold guide or PvP guide alone. But, unlike the guys offering those guides, you get information that isn’t three months old and mostly nerfed. You get info as it is added to the game and you get strategies that no one else has seen yet. I was astounded at how much information is included each month in these guides.

To top things off, the guide writers – Brad Johnson and T Dub Sanders – are the geniuses behind Warcraft Millionaire and PvP Bible (respectively), making them the best possible sources for all the top new info in the game. You can’t get much better than the best around in PvP and the best around in gold making. If you’re looking for the next big thing in Warcraft guides, this is it folks – don’t miss out on Warcraft Formula.

The Need for a Good Leveling Guide

Let’s Hit on This One More Time

I have heard this argument so many times now I don’t know what to say to people anymore. I will bring up the need for a good leveling guide and like clockwork, the person I’m talking to will tell me that they don’t think it is “right” to use one – that it is cheating or that it is unfair to their fellow players.

I’m not going to knock on anyone that would rather complete a game alone than with a guide in hand, but I do have to say that a good leveling guide is a great way to enhance the enjoyment of a game without ruining anything. I like to use Extreme Leveling, a guide I recently discovered that has been instrumental in reducing my leveling time dramatically, as my example here.

1. You don’t have to use it all the time – The thing that many people feel is that having a guide means it must be used at all times. This is not the case. A leveling guide is a tool, much like your auctioneer add-on. You use it to enhance your experience and boost your effectiveness in a certain part of the game.

2. You are getting an unfair edge on other players – Well, yeah, but isn’t that the point? It’s not like you are a better player because you know where to go. A Leveling guide isn’t going to get you more loot or win you PvP matches. It just gets you through the slough of leveling faster so that you can enjoy the end-game sooner. What’s wrong with that?

3. The speed increase is negligible – I couldn’t disagree more. My first character in WoW took my 19 days to level up to Level 70. I didn’t play after hitting level 60 at all (I switched to an alt), so that is all time spent gathering XP. My most recent character leveled up with Extreme Leveling took me 7 days and 14 hours. I would say I’m doing a bit better.

These are just three of the most common arguments I hear. All I can say is that you should visit ExtremeLeveling and read up on the newest guide for World of Warcraft – perhaps even partake of the free offer for the first 12 levels of the guide and then give judgment on whether you think leveling guides are a good thing or not.

The Basics of Class Necessities

So, you just started playing World of Warcraft. Or maybe you’re learning everything you need to know about the game while you play right now. Maybe you’ve been playing for a few months or even years. I don’t really care how long you’ve been playing the game; the odds are that you don’t really know everything you need about your class and I’ll tell you why I know this without actually seeing your account. First of all, almost no one knows enough about their own class. Sure, you have a few wins under your belt in PvP, but that’s more because the other players are just as ignorant about the fundamentals as you are. Throw a bunch of beginners in a room and someone will come out on top…doesn’t mean they are the best.

Okay, enough of the brow beating. I’m not trying to insult my fellow WoW fanatics by any means. In fact, what I’m really hoping to do here is to show you just how much you need help with your class. Whether you’re a PvP fanatic or just a raiding pro, you probably don’t have all the tools you need – the right gear, the epic class mount, or the right talent spec. Most people don’t and that’s why sites like WarcraftPros even exist in the first place. They know that there are people out there like yourself that don’t know what they are doing and need a little help.

I stumbled across this little beauty a few days ago while I was looking up some information on playing as a Paladin. I have played almost every class in the game except the Paladin and to tell you the truth, I was growing really tired of trying to figure things out as I went along. I wanted to enjoy the game and have a few pointers to help me do so. That’s how I came across WarcraftPros and how I learned that there are in fact people out there who know a lot more than me about this game. Yes, I was just as shocked as you…

So, I bought the Paladin guide and started to read about what I should be doing. Of course, I knew the basics more or less, but I didn’t know the exact talent specs to start with or the gear to be specing towards. I didn’t know how to defeat a Druid in PvP (and these strategies downright work, trust me there). Basically, I learned the few things I didn’t know, reinforced what I thought I already knew and am now in the process of rotating between destroying opponents in PvP and backing up tanks in raids depending on what kind of mood I’m in when I log in. This Paladin is now one of my favorite characters and without sounding too much like a cliché, it’s all thanks to WarcraftPros. Trust me in this – you should definitely check it out if you can.

Have You Ever Seen a Warcraft Millionaire?

I ran across something the other day that took me a bit by surprise. It was the site, WarcraftMillionaire.com and its owner, Brad, claimed he was on the verge of becoming the first millionaire in the game. I thought about that statement for a minute and realized that I had never seen anyone with that much gold before.

Sure, I’d seen a lot of gold. Some of my friends have over 100,000 gold, but they have been playing since the game’s launch and know what they are doing. Myself, I only have a few thousand and I grind constantly to make more.

How was it that this guy had managed to do what is seemingly impossible when millions of other players have been at it for just as long and are nowhere close? I did a little more research and after a bit of looking found the video proof Brad had provided to really drive his point home (see it here).

Sure enough, in a few short minutes, Brad clicked between a small collection of characters he had on the same server that each had reached the gold cap of 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper, something I hadn’t even known existed; I mean, who actually reaches the gold cap?

But there it was, in full living color – I won’t say I was shocked, because it was something much more. I have been playing this game for a long time and seeing something like that is like witnessing a World Class runner break a speed record or seeing someone scale Everest blindfolded. It just hasn’t been done before.

I had to know how he had done it; what had this player done that no one else had done before; what did see in the game that others had missed. His strategy must surely be superior… right?

The truth of the matter is that it was not nearly as superior as you would think. It seems that Brad’s friends and fellow players have been asking the same question of him for some time and so he has put together a collection of resources at his website that promises to guide the casual or even hardcore player through the same process he used to reach the upper echelons of gaming.

But, his secret was so simple I could have hit myself in the head. I’d heard it a hundred times before, but I had never heard it quite like Brad put it. It’s all in the Auction House. We all know that; we’ve been to the Auction House and we’ve seen what kind of gold it can provide, but none of us would have guessed that there was quite that much gold in it.

Suffice it to say, I have never seen such concise, well described advice on how to use the Auction House to make gold. I probably won’t reach a million gold anytime soon, but I definitely feel much more confident in my ability to run the economy on my server with an ironfist, and already the gold making rates I had always maligned have started to grow. This guide is the real deal and Brad is a WoW genius.

A Quick Review of the Warcraft Formula

I came across a new product just a couple days ago at WarcraftFormula.com that is actually a bit different from all the other WoW guides out there right now. It’s not a guide for anything in particular – so it’s not only for leveling, gold making, PvP, or anything else. However, I think it may still end up being a fairly useful resource for most of you out there who are looking to improve upon those very areas.

The site is run by Brad Johnson and T Dub Sanders, two guide writers you might have heard of. Brad put together Warcraft Millionaire and a profession guide under the same title. T Dub did the PvP Bible – probably the best PvP guide on the market right now – and WotLK Secrets. They decided to come together on this one, using the “both of best worlds” angle to sell the product. It actually seems to have worked as the Warcraft Formula product is pretty decent from both angles.

Here’s the premise – you start out by paying $17. That initial payment gets you quite a bit. First, there’s a guide that is admittedly pretty useless for anyone that’s been around for a while – an Action Plan that guides players through setting up an account with their main, UI mods, alts, gear, guild signups, and end-game setups. It’s a great resource, but probably more so for casuals looking to get deeper into the game. Along with this though you get a monthly eBook that Brad and T Dub put out that contains about 30 pages of content on everything that happened in the last month in the game. In January for example, the guide talked about the upcoming 3.0.8 patch, gold making strategies at 2 months, and Death Knight nerfs and buffs. You get the current guide and all existing guides when you signup and then with a $17 monthly fee you get each guide monthly.

Coming from two consummate pros and produced to provide a wide variety of different bits of content each month covering everything from gold making and raiding to PvP (there’s a monthly PvP feature), the guide is pretty solid content and the price is definitely reasonable. If you’re looking for more up to date, pointed strategies each month, this is a good place to start.
